On May 25, 2017 at the Au Co Theater, Hanoi held a ceremony to honor the “Safety Food Brand for the Community health in 2017. The award aims to help production and business enterprises in the field of food improve their sense of responsibility in production and business to create products to ensure safety to serve domestic and foreign consumption.

Speaking at the honoring ceremony, Dr. Le Ngoc Dung, Member of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of Vietnam Association of Artists and Trademarks emphasized that “Food safety is a concern of the Party, the National Assembly, the State and the whole people. Good control of food safety helps prevent disease, reduces the burden on the hospital and plays an important role in improving health, developing both physical and intellectual values, not less valuable in the increase the country’s GDP.”

From the survey results of 200 enterprises participating in the Fair, the Organizing Committee and the Review Council selected 68 enterprises to achieve “Safe food brand for community health” within the framework of Safe food and Culinary Fair according to criteria set by the Organizing Committee. This is the motivation for businesses to strive more for their brands and products, especially focusing on product quality, ensuring safety when approaching consumers.
