Nha Trang Bay Construction Investment Joint Stock Company has just released a report on a solar power plant project in Phuoc Huu, Ninh Thuan.

Phuoc Huu solar power plant was built with the goal of contributing a clean energy source to the national electricity system. The project is designed to include a photovoltaic solar power plant directly connected with an installed capacity of 50MW and connected to the national power system through a 110kV voltage cable.

The project uses photovoltaic battery technology, central inverter with installed capacity of about 65MWp – 50MWac. Includes 1 pressure lifting transformer 22 / 110kV, capacity of 1 × 63MVA. Along the 110 kV single circuit line, about 7.2 km long, from the 22 / 110kV booster station of the plant connected to the existing 110kV Ninh Phuoc substation.

The factory is expected to be located in Hau Sanh village, Phuoc Huu commune, Ninh Phuoc district, Ninh Thuan province.

According to Mr. Le Anh Duc, Chairman of Nha Trang Bay Company, the project location has an average solar radiation energy of 2,021kW / m2 / year. Electricity output in the first year: 104.130 million kWh. The typical power output of the plant is 1,603 kWh / kWp / year.

The project has a total investment of nearly VND 1,500 billion, mainly of equipment costs (more than 930 billion), the rest is construction costs, compensation and site clearance compensation. The project is expected to start in March and finish by the end of 2018.

Reportedly, Mr. Le Anh Duc – the Chairman of Nha Trang Bay Company and Vietnam Sturgeon Company – owns 5 sturgeon breeding facilities nationwide with the scale of over 80,000m2 of cages, with about more than 3 million sturgeons, producing over 1,000 tons of commercial sturgeon per year.
